Michael Guidry is an Artist, fisherman, and wayward explorer from New Orleans, Louisiana. Guidry makes Oil Painting artwork inspired by the long tradition of Natural History Painting. Birds of Louisiana and America, Exotic Species of insects, botany, and anything from the natural world could show up in M. Guidry oil painting compositions. Guidry has creates Oil Paintings that are a celebrate the wonder and diversity in the natural world.

All’s well that ends well.
I hand delivered an eleven foot painting to beautiful New Smyrna Beach , Florida (a ten hour drive) only to find that we couldn’t get it in the house by any normal means, so it had to lifted by crane up to the balcony. The painting looks Great in its new home and it mimics the view that you can see to the right of the painting, a whole long wall of glass.

This Commissioned Project Kicked my Ass (right down to the installation) I now feel as light as a feather.
